Keith's Korner - Peru Mission Trip 2015 - A Triumph!

Ten members from five of our SFBA churches went to Peru June 15-27th. Not one of us came back the same!!! Each one -- blessed beyond measure to have had the opportunity to partner and server our LORD in HIS "Great Commission" directive... to GO!  And we saw approximately 1400 people pray to receive Christ as their personal LORD and Savior. Praise the Lord!   A report with a short video will be shared at the annual meeting.  Thank you for sending me!!

Missions Update

Thanks to Massapoag Baptist Church for donating their 1993 Ford Van (15 passenger) to the Association for use as a missions van.  We've been blessed to be able to take it on two mission trips already -- to Vermont and then Coalwood, WV. This van is to be used by our churches for missions and outreach related trips in the event they don't have a van or need an additional one to accomplish their project. When used for this purpose there is no rental fee or deposit, however, the van must be refueled upon return. The designated operator must have a valid driver's licence and be over 21 years of age. Our churches (without a van or adequate number of vans) may use this van for other ministry related trips by providing a minimum donation of $ 50.00 accompanied by an additional $50 deposit refundable deposit (of which the refund will be determined upon the condition of the refueled van upon return). The van is available for reservation at the SFBA office on a First Come, First Served Basis.  **** More information available

Reynosa, Mexico Partnership

A mission trip is being planned for October 21-28th, 2015. A work crew will be going to complete the previous project on a Sunday School addition which will include laying ceramic tile flooring. We still need $2,900 to complete the project. If any individual would like to help with this need, or you are interested in getting involved with this mission trip please contact the Association office at 704-735-1642.
